Life After Undergrad

So, I graduate in the spring and everyone keeps asking me what I plan to do. I tell them all that I plan to go to law school. Some of them are supportive, ad they say,"Well, good for you! Good luck girl!" Then, there are others who ask "How will you afford it? Why would you go if it's going to cause you more debt in the long run?" Those people, those doubters, they cause me to doubt. For an instance I begin to rethink my decision. Then, I almost feel forced into it. Like, with my undergrad degrees I have no choice BUT to go to grad school or law school. I think "Why am I putting myself through this? I can't do this. My GPA is shit (it really is, I have a B average). I don't have any money. Why am I doing this?" These are the thoughts I encounter. They make me not believe in myself either more. I am already unsure about my future, and they make it worse. So then I go and talk to my mom. She reminds me that I can do it. I may not have the best GPA, but I work hard. I am passionate. She tells me not to let my GPA be the determiner that counts me out.
....You know...I believe in what she says. As long as I believe in myself I can succeed. I can do what I am aiming for and more. And all of the people who doubt me will be blown away. I may accrue debt, but when I succeed and excel, I will find a wonderful job that will help me pay off my debt. All things in life don't come easily nor without hardship. I can and will succeed in law school. So to everyone who tries to shoot me down and put doubt/fear into my heart, I say: "Screw you. You don't have to have faith in me. I have faith in myself and there are plenty more other people who have faith in me as well. So, have several SEVERAL seats, sirs and madams."

Dream big.

Stay Strong.

Have Hope.

Love.
